Phantom of the Movies

Did you know they were making Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" into a movie? I sure didn't, until I saw this trailer for it. It looks awesome. Reserve your tickets now.

Amazing. You know I'm a huge fan of the play, and I swore they could never do it justice, but now I realize how limited it was on a stage. The sets were always very lavish and lush, but now they can do huge open settings. The ballroom scene was absolutely breathtaking. Thanks for the link, because I had let this one slip under the radar.

I agree about the epic feel...the movie looks like it'll be huge. It also makes me realize how "Phantom" was a wonderful blend of gentile beauty and vicious horror. Nice work.
